What is Monday Hair Care? How is it done?

Especially for those who work hard on weekdays, Monday is the most important day to make up for the rest of the week. We have prepared some care recommendations to take care of our hair, skin and body, which we tried to shape during the week, and to prepare them for the new week.

Sleep well

A good night’s sleep is essential for a healthy body and mind. If you don’t have an important job, don’t force yourself to wake up early. Let Sunday be a day to rest our body, which has been trying to wake up with an alarm all week, and wait for the sun to wake you up!

Drink water

A glass of warm water drunk as soon as you wake up in the morning, before breakfast; It activates all your systems and sends oxygen to your cells. Waking up all night starving cells with breakfast increases the amount of glucose in the blood. In the long run, it causes sugar-induced hair loss and a decrease in hair quality. Therefore, start your day with a glass of warm water every day and especially on Monday, your care day. If your stomach is accustomed to an alkaline diet, you can add a few drops of lemon juice to your water.

Meditate

Bad stress, which negatively affects the quality of life, paves the way for the emergence of many diseases. Although it is not possible to stay away from stress in today’s conditions, it is also useful to learn to manage it and give our minds a break.

Because our bodies, which are fluttering in an intense pace all week, are also affected physically due to stress when we do not rest enough. The negative effect of stress secreted hormones on hair follicles causes hair thinning and dulling and hair loss. That’s why I suggest you start meditation practice in a comfortable and quiet space.

Drink Green Tea

It is recommended to meditate early in the morning and on an empty stomach. Green tea can accompany a pleasant breakfast after you meditate. Because green tea activates the hair follicles due to its antioxidant properties and the caffeine it contains. Thus, the hair looks brighter and grows healthy. Adding a slice of lemon to green tea will add shine and shine to your hair.

Aromatherapy care

The above steps will help purify your body from within. Then it’s time for the maintenance steps we will apply externally. Massage the aromatherapy oil, which you will prepare according to the needs of your hair, to the scalp and hair ends, and if possible, comb your hair with a bamboo comb.

Then wrap your hair with a cap and heat it with a hair dryer for about 10 minutes. Thus, the oils will become thinner by heating and your hair follicles will expand and absorb more oil.

After the drying process, you let your hair wrapped with a bonnet wait for another 20 minutes and rinse it off by massaging the scalp with a natural shampoo. After softening your hair with conditioner, you can also cleanse your hair follicles from residues by mixing apple cider vinegar and water.

Hair Oil Recipe:

I have prepared a hair care oil recipe that will bring moisture and vitality to the hair. You can also prepare your own recipes according to your needs according to the ratios of these base and essential oils, or you can apply the recipe you will get from another source you find reliable.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon of castor oil
  • 8 drops of macadamia oil
  • 8 drops of argan oil
  • 8 drops of rosemary oil

Specification:

Melt the coconut oil in a bain-marie and allow it to warm slightly. Then drip the essential oils, mix all the oils homogeneously and apply to your hair.
